WHO IS TELEMACHUS PRESS?

The Private Press Publisher is Back

In today’s world where cheap and easy has replaced the quality only achieved with hard work and attention to detail, Telemachus Press has distinguished itself in the eBook and Print On Demand markets. As an Internet-enabled, quality provider of all services needed by authors to produce and distribute their books, we are today’s equivalent of the Private Press Publisher. Our attention to delivering a perfect book in all formats – eBook, paperback and hardback – is well recognized. We create the final product for each format individually, examining each page for perfection. Our covers are individual works of art.

With full transparency to the author, we are a for hire author services company enabling print-on-demand (POD) and  eBook delivery.  We exclusively use LightingSource Inc. (owned by Ingram Books) for printing (in the United States) and distribution so that your book can be ordered through most major and small book retailers, both domestic and international. For eBooks we distribute to Amazon, Smashwords, Barnes & Noble, Sony, Kobo, Apple and more.

Tell me some more about how you can publish and market my book.
    Thanks,
    Clare WB

    • Clare,

Thanks for your question. I’m sure you will admit that writing your book required a significant effort…but probably one categorized as a labor of love. We take the same “labor of love” approach to formatting and publishing your book. Depending on the services you select, we will format your book for publication on the various eReader sites as well as format it for print on demand in paperback or hardcover format. The interior of your book will be formatted to our high standards with, of course, your input so that it has the look and feel you desire. Your cover will be custom-designed by our team based on your input. There are reviews built into the process to capture your thoughts and ideas as well as several quality control checks. We do not take shortcuts with your book as do some others. Special formats of your book will be developed for each of the eReader and print on demand sites. Your final work will be available on websites for Amazon, Barns and Noble, Apple iPad as well as available for order by traditional brick and mortar book stores.

We allow our authors complete freedom to set the suggested list price for their book as well as implement the marketing strategy for their book. Our experience base and that of our authors’, allows us to guide you in your marketing efforts. You know your book and target market better than anyone and are in the best position to properly position, price and promote your book.

I am available to more fully describe our services and assist you with our publishing services. Please call me at 941-993-5987 or email at steve.himes@telemachuspress.com.
